This is my ninth year of teaching and my third year at Wheeler Elementary! I have taught first grade (08'-10') and Kindergarten (10'-present). I ABSOLUTELY love my Kindergarten kiddos! I adore this age group and love helping young learners through hands-on discovery. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English and Communications from the University of Louisville (GO CARDS!!) in 2008, my Masters in Elementary Education from Indiana University Southeast in 2012 and my National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy: Reading-Language Arts in 2013. Aside from teaching, I love spending time with my husband Joey, my son, Hudson, my Yorkie, Gordon, family and friends.
